Comunica’s Positive, Proactive Project Manager with a Flair for Organisation

Laura is equal parts project and account manager. Her superpower at work is an X-ray vision for identifying client needs, but she also feels like a rock star when she checks a project and sees that everything is running smoothly. She is focused on bringing positivity into everything she does, which fuels her belief that she really can take on anything that is thrown her way.

Laura studied Translation and Interpreting at the University of Cordoba, and she spent a year abroad in Poznan, Poland as part of her studies. She speaks Spanish, English, and her French is coming along nicely. At work, she’s known for calling her colleagues the dream team and for bringing a positive, curious energy to everything she does. On her desk, you’ll always find a coaster – because order matters.

When the workday is done, Laura heads to the gym to recharge. She loves singing, sips her coffee with almond milk, and will happily snack on fruit any time of day. If she could teleport anywhere for lunch, she’d go to Japan in a heartbeat, and she’d star in a fantasy movie if she ever got cast. Her hidden talent? She can do a clover tongue roll — not the most practical skill, but definitely a fun party trick.

Some of her best memories at Comunica include that one legendary Christmas party when she and Maria organised the Christmas Olympic Games (one for the history books). What Laura brings to the team is her genuine care — she checks in with everyone, offers encouragement and makes sure people know they’re valued. For her, Comunica is family. And if the team were stranded on a desert island, Laura would be the one keeping everyone united, focused and prioritising what really matters — food, safety and sticking together.
