Quality Management
Quality doesn’t happen by accident — it’s engineered. Our system combines advanced language technology with expert human insight to catch even the smallest issues before they reach you. From automated checks to AI-enhanced review processes, we’ve built a framework designed for precision at scale.
Miss Nothing
with Top Tech
Technology is the cornerstone of our quality management system. From automated QA processes to AI-powered analysis systems, we deploy a range of tools to scrutinise our output and flag every possible error for review.
This approach is as thorough as it is efficient, allowing you to rest assured in the knowledge that no stone will be left unturned – and that our rigour won’t come at the expense of your deadline.
Get StartedSmart QA Procedures
The QA process begins with a series of automated controls run inside the CAT tool. These check for simple errors such as spelling and grammar mistakes, as well as the inconsistent translation of terms or phrases, punctuation errors, convention mistakes, non-compliance with style or capitalisation rules, numerical accuracy and more.
We also have the option to plug in tools that use AI to compare the translation against the original and identify any omissions, additions, register mismatches, slight changes in meaning or phrasings that could potentially be overly direct for the target syntax. Finally, all of these warnings are reviewed and actioned by a human linguist who draws on their own expertise to verify every change.
Continuous Evaluation & Feedback
We use a smart scorecard system to continuously evaluate performance and share feedback with our linguists. Reviewers complete scorecards after every job, meaning that linguist performance is continuously and consistently monitored over time.
The feedback is then shared with the translator, and we work together with linguists to provide support and further training whenever any gaps or shortcomings are detected. This helps us continuously verify the standards in our database and to ensure that linguists are keeping up with new developments in their industry.
Style Guides and Glossaries
Our termbase management programme and style guide creation procedure are key elements of our QA arsenal. Rigorous termbases are created and kept up-to-date using the latest technology to ensure consistency and accuracy in all projects.
Our style guides, meanwhile, play an important role in defining our clients’ brand voices across multiple languages, and by integrating these guides with our QA ecosystem, we can safeguard strict compliance with the rules and guidelines within each and every project.
Client Feedback
You will have the opportunity to provide feedback on your projects both underway and after delivery. We will then feed this back into the loop, making sure to update the linguist instructions, style guides and termbases accordingly.
The entire process is highly automated, ensuring that feedback is collected consistently. This prevents our efforts from becoming misaligned with your requirements, for a smooth and steady collaboration that only grows and gets better over time.

Got a question we haven’t answered? Get in touch and we’ll give you an answer!
Do you follow ISO 18587?
Yes. ISO 18587 establishes requirements for the process of full, human post-editing of machine translation output and the qualifications that post-editors need to have. We strictly follow the requirements in this standard. You can read more about it here.
What QA tools do you use?
We have a broad tech stack and the exact mix of tools we use will always vary from project to project, depending on what best fits the task at hand.
In general, however, we use Xbench for custom QA procedures, as well as the QA features integrated within our CAT tools. You can read more about the tools we work with on our language technology page, here.
Do you use KPIs to track quality?
Yes. We translate client feedback into KPIs that give us a clear sense of how well we are meeting expectations, and we take swift action to address any shortcomings and ensure satisfaction. The same goes for our linguists – we convert scorecard results into KPIs and make sure to always remedy any issues right from the very moment they first appear.
These procedures keep us on top of our game and mean you don’t need to worry about quality ever dropping or growing inconsistent. We’re on it.
What should I do if I experience a quality issue?
You will be asked as standard to provide feedback on your project. You can also contact your project manager with queries or concerns at any time, either during or after the process. We offer the option to set up a dedicated Slack channel for bigger projects or long-running collaborations, or we can integrate with your existing set-up to ensure you have a quick and seamless way to stay in touch. You can read more about that here.
Do you have a dedicated quality manager?
Yes! Paula Kalfirtova is our Partnerships and Quality Manager. You can read more about her here.
