María,
Account Manager
As an Account Manager with responsibility for one of Comunica’s longest-running major accounts, María orchestrates around 600 projects a month and somehow makes it look like a walk in the park. She thrives on turning chaos into harmony, keeping translators, linguists and clients perfectly in sync – like the conductor of a very fast-paced (but surprisingly smooth) orchestra.
Her superpower? Radar-like multitasking skills that allow her to track updates, procedures and 12 linguists at once – while still catching those tiny little QA details before hitting ‘send.’ Add in her lightning-fast typing skills (seriously, her fingers are basically a blur), and you’ve got the ultimate Project Manager.
Armed with a degree in Translation and Interpreting in English, French and Italian from the University of Málaga, María spent time working, studying and living in Bath, Dijon and Madrid before finding her way to Comunica. Now, back on home turf, she draws on her skills and experience to create order from chaos, and she does it with sparkle, optimism and the occasional ‘We got this!’
For María, Comunica isn’t just a workplace – it’s family. Whether she’s hosting the team at her house for a BBQ, dancing at a summer party, or hugging her colleagues through a stressful day, she brings positivity, structure and warmth wherever she goes. If the team were stranded on a desert island, she’d be the planner making timetables, keeping spirits up and ensuring everyone has their role.
