Head of Technology

Juan is the wizard behind the screen at Comunica. When something breaks, glitches, or refuses to cooperate, he’s the calm voice saying, ‘Please, whole screen screenshots,’ before quietly working his magic. (Pro tip: don’t question it when it suddenly fixes itself – that’s part of the spell.)

Armed with a coffee mug that never runs dry and a little dog whispering tech secrets from under his desk, Juan builds apps and systems (like his proprietary pride and joy, ComunicaWebtools) that have revolutionised the way our PMs work. He always has his finger on the pulse of new developments and helps continuously monitor, assess and refine the mix of tools that give us our superpowers.

Juan has an educational background in Computer Science and speaks both Spanish and English. He considers himself a bit of a movie buff and always prefers to watch things in their original language when possible. When things go wrong (and let’s be honest, tech things do), Juan brings chill, clarity, and a joke or two to keep us all grounded. He’s our in-house psychologist, systems whisperer, and the glue that holds all our digital threads together.
