Our Language Experts

People are the backbone of everything we do. Without the right linguists, we wouldn’t have the expertise, the skill or the flair we need to create value for our clients.

From Swedish Knitters to Spanish Mathematicians

The key to providing good translation and localisation services lies in an excellent network of linguists – but putting this together is no walk in the park. It takes a rigorous, on-going recruitment and on-boarding cycle, continuous quality checks and feedback rounds, and open channels of communication to pick up on changes in availability, specialisation or needs.

This work is handled expertly by our Partnerships and Quality Manager, Paula, who keeps the database up-to-date and scours the web for unique talent. Because linguists are not just people who speak multiple languages – they’re highly trained in both the art of translation and their chosen specialisation.

Assigning a project is not just a matter of picking out the first linguist to top a list – it’s about surfing a matrix and finding that one unique person (or mix of people) who can combine all the skills we need.

Juho, FI

I love all your PMs. Everyone at Comunica has always been beyond nice and treated me wonderfully.

Michael, EN

Comunica is a well-oiled machine. The projects flow beautifully and nothing gets overlooked. That and the people are what make them such a joy to work with.

Niina, FI

Comunica is one of the best agencies I collaborate with! I appreciate the personal communication style and the assistance you provide, to mention just a few things.

Peder, DA

I am very grateful for the many years of good cooperation with you, so a big thank you to everyone at Comunica.

Einar, NO

Comunica is one of my oldest clients, and you’ve been a big part of my everyday life for many years. You run a well-managed agency with a wonderful group of kind and talented people!

Pierrick, FR

I appreciate the fact that Comunica gives vendors time to consider and decide whether to accept or reject a job, and the deadlines are always reasonable.

David, EN

Your professionalism is the main reason I’ve always liked working with you. I’ve never come across a project manager at Comunica who hasn’t had a good working knowledge of the business from both sides.

Jonas, NO

Your company is really unique in a positive way. And you are the only company that will get this compliment from me – and I’d stand by that no matter what.

A Personal Approach

Good working relationships are essential to success – and that’s why we pride ourselves on being down to earth. By taking the time to engage with and understand our linguists, and adapt insofar as possible to their needs, we create an open and understanding environment that works for both parties.

The ultimate result is strong bonds between colleagues and a collaborative mindset that is aimed at producing the best possible results for our clients.

A Personal Approach

Start with an Internship

Many of our most trusted collaborators begin their working relationship with Comunica as interns in our Fuengirola office. This gives us both a chance to get to know each other better and develop a deeper working relationship.

The interns also receive training in localisation best practices, systems, CAT tools and work flow management. Read more here.
